    On an evening's visit to Weston-Super-Mare, we came across what were, quite simply the BEST fish and chips we have EVER tasted - anywhere!

    The large Icelandic cod, in a delicious golden batter - with secret ingredient developed over eleven years in the business - was tasty and melted in the mouth.

    The chips WERE chips, not fast food fries or wedges. Cooked in palm oil, they were delicately fried, and were juicy (not soggy), yet crunchy (wrong word!), just the way chips should be.

    This was accompanied with a simple soft white roll and hot cup of tea - all for £5.45. Excellent value in pleasant surroundings. Very nice toilets too!

    Don't miss this little gem of a chippie!
